2010 Data Warehousing Forum (Incorporating the Load Management and DEEWR SIGs)

The 2010 AAIR Data Warehouse Special Interest Group Forum will be hosted by Southern Cross University at our new developing Gold Coast Beachside Campus immediately adjacent to Coolangatta Airport on the 12-13 August, 2010.

This year the Data Warehouse Special Interest Group Forum has been broadened and will also incorporate sessions for the Load Management and DEEWR Reporting AAIR Special Interest Groups.

The theme of the Forum is WEARING MANY HATS

There are several sub themes as follows:

Technical

(E.g. ETL (Extract, Transform and Load), Conforming Dimensions, Centralised vs Silos)

BI

(E.g. Dashboards and Metrics, Institutional Performance Tracking and Reporting, Data analytics, Data defintions)

Load Management

(E.g. Forecasting, Tracking cohorts, 2012 and beyond)

DEEWR Reporting

(E.g. Reporting dimensions, Aligning conflicting agendas: Federal/State/Institution)

There is now a call for abstracts on papers to be presented at the AAIR SIG Forum. This year we are also seeking expressions of interest for members to chair discussion panels/forums - instead of developing a full paper presentation - on particular topics (for example, centralised warehouse systems versus silos, forecasting or calculation of staff FTE).
