Academic Skills Development academic staff are qualified and experienced in teaching critical literacy in a range of higher education contexts.
We can work collaboratively with faculties/schools and/or individual staff to further facilitate students' learning. On request (and staff permitting), we can provide workshops, preferably within your tutorials, that are focused on the academic skills required for your assignment/s. We can also produce specifically tailored handout material. Please contact us if you would like to discuss these options. You can also refer individual students to us for help with a particular assignment or academic skill particularly in relation to resubmits. You can utilise our resources: - Academic Skills Information Guides (also available in the Academic Skills Development Group Study room, 3rd floor, Library, Lismore and outside the Academic Skills Development Unit, top floor, Library, Coffs Harbour).
