Welcome to the landing page of the Blackboard Enhancement Project. Since the decision was taken in March 2011 by the University Executive to upgrade our Learning Management System (LMS). Daniel MacKeeman was appointed as the Project Manager and much work has been completed from a technical perspective to enable the transition to take place.

This Project offers great benefits to our students and staff as we secure an improved service and greater reliability for our LMS. Daniel and his Project Team are to be congratulated on the behind the scenes technical progress made so far.

As the Project proceeds I hope you will become a regular visitor to this website and that you will find the material to be useful in assisting you to familiarise yourself with the new Blackboard site and the new features as they become available. I will ensure that communication with the user community is maintained at key points in the process as this exciting and worthwhile Project unfolds.
