Flexible study options
At the Southern Cross Business School you can choose how you want to study. The majority of our courses are offered both on-campus and by distance education, and are taught across three study sessions, giving you the freedom to study where you want and when you choose. You can also spread your load or fast-track your degree.
Distance education
Distance education is an excellent option for anyone who wants to cut out travel time, has family or work commitments or doesn't want to study on campus. Our distance education option uses leading online technologies that are highly interactive and promote collaboration and a sense of community.
On-campus education
For students who want face-to-face teaching and access to contemporary facilities, most of our courses are offered at one or more of SCU's campuses: Gold Coast and Tweed Heads, Lismore, and Coffs Harbour. They are also offered at many other national and international locations through our educational collaborations.
Three study sessions or trimesters each year
With three study sessions or trimesters each year, we give you the opportunity to manage your study to suit your personal or professional commitments. As a postgraduate student you can complete a 12-unit Masters degree in a calendar year thanks to our three trimesters. As an undergraduate student you can study over the summer with our third study session.
