Why are some of my readings greyed out in eReadings?

The conditions of our Part VB educational licence are quite explicit and only permit one instance of book to be available online at any given time. This is a University wide limitation. If your reading is greyed out it means that another lecturer may be using a portion of the same book for a different unit. In this case it is possible to assess which unit needs the materials first and "switch" one reading off and make the other available. NOTE however you cannot provide more that one chapter or 10% to the same group of students under any circumstances.

Where you have provided extracts from the same text as separate readings the material will also be greyed out and available through RapidPrint only even though you have not exceeded the 10% rule. To improve accessibility for your students it is recommended that you keep your 10% in the one portion/reading and direct your students to the appropriate page to read from your study guide.
