Is an introductory course in public international law. Designed to introduce students to the basic concepts of the law which regulate relations between nations. Will examine the nature, origins, structure, functions, sources and subjects of international law. These issues will be examined in respect of political and social context. Where appropriate, emphasis will be placed upon examining Australian foreign policy and upon international legal questions that particularly relevant for Australia.
