Unit Description

Introduces students to key issues associated with being a professional in education in the 21^st century. Emphasis is placed on metacognitive approaches to learning as a key to effective teaching. Skills in reflective practice are incorporated to enable students to monitor their development as educators and to critically reflect on their career choice in early childhood and/or primary schools.

Enrolment Information

Available to Bachelor of Education (Primary) and Early Childhood students only. Students may need to travel up to 90 minutes to and from a school immersion visit.
