Unit Description

Provides students with the experience of working with a mixed caseload, and with clients exhibiting profiles not previously encountered, via an internal simulated and actual internal clinic unit. Students practise clinical reasoning and apply profession specific and generic Allied Health profession skills to clients with a range of disorders.

Enrolment Information

Requires computer and access to the Internet; evidence of a police check, working with children check and immunisation certificates.

any 16 units (192 credit points); AND SPT30001 - Voice: Theory and Practice OR PDT30001 - Management and Treatment of the High Risk Foot; AND SPT30002 - Speech and Swallowing in Adults and Children: Theory and Practice OR PDT40001 - Advanced Fieldwork (Podiatry); AND HLT30002 - Clinics in Multimodal Intervention: Internal*.
* HLT30002 may be studied concurrently.
