Unit Description

Expands on the summary version of social marketing covered in CMM03211 - Health Promotion Strategies and Methods I: Theory and Core Strategies. It allows the student to develop skills in marketing that are appropriate to the advancement of the social good. It includes knowledge of formative research, media use and selection, target segmentation and program development to develop social marketing as an “umbrella” for other health promotion programs.
