The Bachelor of Business with Honours is research focused and offers students a pathway to a career in academia as well as the opportunity to attain or develop a career in the private and public sector.
The honours degree is available to students who have completed their undergraduate degree in business (or equivalent) and achieved a grade point average of five or above. Students will complete coursework units as well as a research project (thesis) of approximately 20,000 words. The research project will be conducted under the supervision of a nominated academic supervisor.
The honours program is offered in internal study mode, however, consideration will be given under special circumstances to students wishing to study by distance education.

There are a variety of career opportunities in research and teaching, as well as employment in organisations or fields such as treasury, auditor general, government departments, CSIRO, banks, and financial institutions. Graduates also find employment generally within their specialist field including accounting, economics, finance, human resource management, information systems, international business, management, marketing and information technology.
