Arriving at SCU

Getting to Lismore

Airport pick up service costs: Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Blue have daily flights from Sydney to Ballina, and REX has daily flights from Sydney to Lismore. Pick up can be arranged from the airport to ELC Lismore.

  • From Gold Coast (Coolangatta): please enquire at ELC for costings
  • From Ballina: please enquire at ELC for costings
  • From Lismore: please enquire at ELC for costings

Buses: Buses are available from Brisbane, Sydney and other major centres. These buses all stop at the Lismore Transit Centre, Molesworth Street, Lismore. Local buses are available within the city of Lismore.

Taxis: Taxis are available in Lismore, Ballina, Byron Bay and all areas in between.

Getting to Coffs Harbour

Airport: Qantas and Virgin Blue have daily flights from Sydney to Coffs Harbour. Pick up can be arranged from the airport to ELC Coffs Harbour.

Buses: Buses are available from Brisbane, Sydney and other major centres. From Sydney, Premier Bus Service or Greyhound Australia are used. Local buses are available within Coffs Harbour city.

Trains: Trains are available from Sydney and other major centres in NSW.

Getting to Gold Coast

Airport: Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Blue and Tiger Airways have daily flights from Sydney and Melbourne to the Gold Coast. Pick-ups can be arranged from the airport to ELC.

Buses: Buses are available from Brisbane, Sydney and other major centres. Local buses are available around the Tweed Gold Coast and the University provides a free shuttle bus between Riverside, Lakeside and Beachside. The timetable for this service is released at the beginning of each study period.

Taxis: Taxis are available in the Gold Coast and Tweed Heads areas.
