EO Online
Southern Cross University is committed to equal employment opportunity and creating an organisational culture that is free from all forms of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
Equal opportunity means having a workplace environment where all staff are valued and have equal access to opportunities in the workplace. All staff have a responsibility to comply with anti-discrimination legislation and to treat others fairly and with respect.
EO Online is an interactive equal opportunity workshop conducted online which aims to provide staff with a better understanding of equal opportunity and its application in the University. The program promotes awareness of discrimination and harassment issues and provides an understanding of the legal rights and responsibilities of staff.
EO Online is presented in two modules:
- All staff should work through Module 1.
- Staff with managerial or supervisory responsibilities should work through Modules 1 and 2.
Each module takes approximately 1 hour to complete.
At the end of each module, staff MUST initiate the feedback link as this link proceeds to the User Registration Page. Completion of User Registration provides evidence that you have completed the module/s and issues a Certificate of Attainment, which can be printed from this page. Feedback can also be provided at this time and your input would be appreciated.
An automated email is generated and sent with a copy of your certificate to your registered email address. An automated email is also generated and sent to the Equity & Diversity Office as confirmation of your completion.
