2012 Excellence in Community Engagement Awards

In its second year, the Excellence in Community Engagement Awards is an initiative of the Office of Community Engagement to celebrate exemplary community engaged scholarship and practice at Southern Cross University.

The categories for the Excellence in Community Engagement Awards 2012 are:

- Community Impact - Leadership - Community Engaged Learning - Community Engaged Research - Partnership

NOMINATIONS Online nominations for 2012 open on Tuesday October 2, and will close on Monday November 5.

Through the 2011 Excellence in Community Engagement Awards, a number of impressive projects have been celebrated that demonstrate the strength and diversity of community engaged scholarship at SCU. NEW CATEGORY A new partnership category has been introduced for 2012 to allow SCU staff to nominate those partners who have consistently demonstrated a genuine commitment to support and enrich University activity. Partners may be recognised for their active involvement in a broad range of University activities. AWARDS PRESENTATION The Awards Reception and Celebration will be on Friday 30 November 2012, with the Vice Chancellor Professor Peter Lee to present the Awards.
