Official opening Thursday 11 October, 6–8pm The Dax Centre Gallery, Melbourne

Inspired Lives: Discovering Life in Imagination 11 October 2012 – 11 January 2013

Inspired Lives: Discovering Life in Imagination shares the original voice of suicide survivors Mic Eales, Jessica Raschke, Baden Offord and Konii C Burns. The exhibition explores the psychological and spiritual crisis of suicide and its damaging after-effects revealing the deeply personal experiences of these artists as they work through their struggles, find inspiration and take steps towards healing.

Viewers are advised the exhibition contains themes relating to suicide. While the artworks themselves contain no explicit visual reference to suicide, the accompanying exhibition texts make reference to the personal experience of survivors.
