Facilities Management & Service's function is to plan and provide a physical environment necessary to the University to achieve its mission of excellence in teaching and research in higher education.

Facilities Management is responsible for providing the following services:

• Fire safety
• Energy management
• Maintenance - corrective, preventative and reactive
• Refurbishments
• Cleaning
• Pest management
• Security - keys, access control, surveillance, escorts, lost property
• Parking
• Pool vehicles
• Waste and recycling
• Grounds
• Indoor plants
• Water management
• Stores receipt and dispatch
• Chemical storage and disposal
