Commonwealth Supported Student Definitions

2010, 2011 & 2012 Students Commenced study on or after January 1, 2010.	You are an undergraduate 2010, 2011 or 2012 student if you are commencing your course of study as a Commonwealth Supported student on or after January 1, 2010. You will be charged National Priority Band for units within the FOE^* of Mathematics, Science and Statistics. You will be charged Band 1 for units within the FOE^* of Education and Nursing. You will be charged Band 3 for units within the FOE^* of accounting, commerce, administration and economics.
Pre-2010 Students Commenced study between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009.	You are an undergraduate pre-2010 student if you are commencing your course of study as a Commonwealth Supported student between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2009. You will be charged National Priority Band for units within the FOE^* of Mathematics, Science and Statistics. You will be charged Band 3 for units within the FOE^* of accounting, commerce, administration and economics.
Pre-2009 Students Commenced study between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008.	You are an undergraduate pre-2009 student if you are commenced your course of study as a Commonwealth Supported student between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008. You will be charged Band 2 for units within the FOE^* of Mathematics, Science and Statistics. You will be charged Band 3 for units within the FOE^* of accounting, commerce, administration and economics.
Pre-2008 Students Commenced study before January 1, 2008.	To be considered a pre-2008 Commonwealth supported student, you must have been enrolled as a Commonwealth supported student in a course, which is not yet completed or discontinued, which commenced prior to 2008. You are also a pre-2008 student if you were admitted to an honours program as a Commonwealth supported student having commenced the related pass degree prior to 2008 or completed an enabling course in 2007. You will be charged the student contribution amount of Band 2 for units within the FOE^* for accounting, commerce, administration and economics, for any studies undertaken between January 1, 2008 and December 31, 2013.

All pre-2005 student arrangements ENDED ON DECEMBER 31, 2008 regardless of whether you have completed your course.
