Elluminate Live! is web-based audio-conferencing software for real-time collaboration; a mix of a teletutorial and virtual classroom with additional features. Lecturers can have real-time discussions with you while you view PowerPoint slides, web sites, the whiteboard and shared applications - all of which are interactive. Elluminate Live! also offers text messaging capabilities, ad-hoc surveys (polling) and basic assessments. Classes can be recorded for later playback. How to join an Elluminate Live! classEither your unit assessor will provide you with a link to join your scheduled class by email and/or MySCU announcement or you will access through your MySCU BlackBoard Unit [click here for help accessing an Elluminate session or recording in your MySCU unit]. To test if your computer can run Elluminate you should check the System Requirements (link to left) and also ensure that you have a microphone and speakers (a headset similar to those pictured is recommended). Then go to the Elluminate Live! Configuration Room and it will tell you if you have the required software. If not, or if you are still unable to access the Configuration Room, this page will give you links to the required downloads.
