Previous tertiary or TAFE studies
Your previous completed or incomplete post secondary studies may be used to formulate a selection rank to determine your eligibility for a place at Southern Cross University.
Post secondary studies include those studies undertaken at universities, TAFE or accredited private providers.
Studies completed at Certificate IV level or higher will be considered as criteria for entry to the University. If you have an incomplete qualification at diploma level or above you may still qualify for a selection rank.
Trade qualified applicants will receive a selection rank and should include details of their trade certificate and work experience in their application.
Any other applicant who has completed a qualification as a requirement of their position should also include those details in their application.
To gain entry to a specific course your selection rank will have to meet the minimum selection rank or cut-off required for that course.
Include details of your previous post secondary qualifications in your UAC, QTAC or Direct Application.
Business, Tourism and IT Pathways
SCU and both the North Coast and Gold Coast Institutes of TAFE offer special Business, Tourism and IT Pathway Programs that will enable you to maximise your course of study at TAFE.
