We are currently reviewing our Agent Network.

All new applications, are being considered during this review period.

Only successful prospective agents will be contacted, within 3 weeks of receiving their applications.

Thank you for your interest in representing Southern Cross University. In order that we are able to assess the suitability of the agents we enter into agreements with please respond, as fully as possible, to the following requests.

Your application will be kept on file for six months, unless you advise us to destroy it.

Business Practice:

1. List all business names used by the organisation.

2. How many offices does your company have? Please list all locations, identifying Head Office and branch offices.

3. How many counsellors do you employ on a full time basis working with Australian student recruitment?

4. How many years has your organisation been in operation as an agent for recruitment of Australian students?

Training and Development:

5. Please outline your provision for staff training with specific reference to the National Code of Practice 2007 and the ESOS Act. For staff who have successfully completed an education agent training course, list their names, the courses that they have completed, such as the Education Agent Training Course through Pier Online, and the year the course was completed.

Affiliations and Professional Memberships:

6. Does the organisation have any beneficial affiliations e.g. schools, universities, colleges, language schools, training organisations, government organisations etc? If so, please identify specific affiliations.

7. What memberships does the organisation or members of staff have of relevant professional bodies?

Marketing and Recruitment Strategies:

8. What are the numbers of students that you have sent to Australia for each of the past 3 years in University, Vocational Education and Training, Secondary School, Packaged offers (VET and University) and English Language Schools sectors?

9. Please provide samples of your organisations current promotional materials and recent advertisements, as well as website URL.

10. Please provide a schedule of your promotional educational activities over the last year in summary format.

11. What is your current marketing plan for Australian student recruitment?

12. Do you recruit students for other overseas markets? (I) If so, which countries? (II) What percentage of your total recruitment is Australian students?

Current Agreements with Australian Institutions:

13. List the institutions in Australia with which the organisation has a current active agency agreement by sector and state.

14. Please supply the following contact details: name, position, phone and email address of two (2) referees from Australian universities to which you have sent students in the last 12 months. If you have not sent students to Australian universities in the last 12 months, please alternative referees from Australian institutions from other sectors.

15. Have you previously sent students to SCU or have pending applications with SCU? If so, please provide name and DOB of students.
