2. Download an Application Form
Choose the appropriate Application Form from the list below:
Remember that original or certified copies of supporting documents MUST be submitted with your application.
- Undergraduate Courses - Application forms including Advanced Standing and General Information.
- Postgraduate Coursework - Application forms including Advanced Standing and General Information.
- Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)~ program information and Application Forms.
- Masters by Research or PhD course application forms available from the Division of Research.
- Research Degree Expression of Interest Form - also available from the Division of Research.
- English Language Program - information and application forms
- Study Abroad Program - information and application form for incoming students.
~ More information about the DBA is available from the Southern Cross University Business School or email dba@scu.edu.au. Currently this course is not offered to international students studying offshore unless studying through a SCU partner organisation.
3. Complete Your Application Form
- Complete the application form and checklist.
Advanced Standing (including Credit for Previous Studies and/or Recognition of Prior Learning)
- Southern Cross University policy allows for the granting of advanced standing for previous post-secondary study (normally completed within the last ten years), relevant professional experience or demonstrable expertise. If you wish to apply for advanced standing towards your course, you should complete and return the Advanced Standing Application Form.

4. Submit Your Application Form
Submit your completed application form and checklist together with any supporting documents as directed on the form.
Please note: All students are required to bring their original documentation to Australia as all documentation must be sighted by the International Office.
Applications to study with The Hotel School Sydney OR Sydney College of Business and Information Technology (SCBIT) OR Australian School of Tourism and Hotel Management in Perth should be sent to these institutions and not to Southern Cross University.
5. The Next Step
Southern Cross University will asses your Application and accompanying documents and contact you shortly via email. Once you have been contacted by the University you should go to Accepting your Offer page and follow the instructions.
