Mobile@SCU How To
Southern Cross University is pleased to bring you Mobile@SCU. We are the first university in Australia to launch its own free iPhone application. This application provides mobile access to the directory, maps, news, videos, Library, iTunesU and videos.
The application, which can be downloaded for free, from the iTunes App Store, is compatible with both the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. This is only the beginning for Mobile@SCU with additional features under consideration for subsequent releases.

Mobile@SCU is available for Android and Apple iOS devices.

How do I get Mobile@SCU?
Apple iOS: To install Mobile@SCU on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, visit the Mobile@SCU page in the iTunes App store, then download and install. Once the Mobile@SCU icon is installed, simply click on the icon, wait a few seconds, and then the suite of available services (represented as graphic icons) will appear.
Android: To install Mobile@SCU on your Android device, visit the Mobile@SCU page on the Android Market, then download and install. Once the Mobile@SCU icon is installed, simply click on the icon, wait a few seconds, and then the suite of available services (represented as graphic icons) will appear.
Maps
Search for buildings by name to see their location on the map.You can see where you are on campus in relation to the building you're looking for, and even get a photo of and information about the building.
Directory
Search for Staff contact information.When you find the person you're looking for, adding them to your device contacts is as simple as clicking a button.
Videos
Stay up to date with the latest video content from the UniSCU YouTube channel.
News
Stay up-to-date with what's happening on campus, and read the latest news from SCU. Includes Media Releases, Facebook and Twitter Feeds.
Emergency
Provide your community with easy access to important phones numbers and websites, giving you, and all campus stakeholders, peace of mind.
iTunesU
Connect to SCU's iTunesU site on your phone and download podcasts, music, and other information from the campus community.
Blackboard Learn
Access your learn sites for announcements, discussions, grades, blogs and journals.
Library
Browse the library catalog and check item availability on the go.
