CommitteesThe Information Technology Steering Committee (ITSC) assists the Director of Technology Services in the effective provision of technology services across the University. The Web Management Committee assists with the governance of the Universities website and identifies improvements required to enable it to be effectively used as a major marketing tool. The TS Services, Policy and Planning Framework A framework has been developed to assist with the application of industry best pratices such as ITIL, COBiT, Project Management and Information Security. PolicyAll technology services policy is developed in accordance with the University's Policy Framework. In addition a standard set of IT policy components are used where applicable covering Access/Availability; Management & Monitoring; Support/Delivery; Security; Maintenance; Training; Backup; Compliance with external legislation; Advice & Assistance. Service DeliveryThe following best practice delivery processes have been adopted and are in varying stages of development and implementation: - Incident Management;
- Change Management;
- Problem Management;
- Configuration Management;
- Education and Training Program;
- Risk Management;
- Business Continuity and DRP.
Planning and OrganisationalThe following planning and organisational processes have been adopted and are in varying stages of development and implementation: - Strategic and Operational Planning;
