Microsoft IT Academy Microsoft based technologies (Windows based PC with Microsoft Office) form the foundation of Southern Cross University's standard operating environment (SOE). To enable staff and students to use these technologies effectively, Southern Cross University has recently subscribed to a service that offers students and staff access to a comprehensive range of training and teaching materials related to Microsoft products. This service, the MS IT Academy, enables educators and IT staff to stay up-to-date on the latest Microsoft products and tools from email and office productivity tools right through to advanced server and database technologies. As Microsoft based technologies (Windows based PC with Microsoft Office) form the foundation for applications installed on all SCU PCs, it is important that staff and students can use these technologies effectively.
