Searching in Outlook
Whilst in the Inbox, click into the Search field (just above the most recent message) or press Ctrl+E. Type the term you would like to search for and the search will start and display results as you type.
Note that Search Tools opens in the ribbon, allowing you to select how you want to search for an email. You can broaden your search by clicking on All mail items in the ribbon.
The Search Tools ribbon also allows you to filter your search results using a range of parameters, including: Sender's name, Subject keywords, Attachments, Categories, Sent date, Flagged messages, Recipient's name (in the TO or CC fields), Importance, read or unread emails, and many more.
