OverviewThe University has a centrally supported eLearning management system called Blackboard. This system, widely used throughout the Australian and international higher education community, is an easy to use browser-based learning environment enabling online interactivity and collaboration as well as access to study materials and resources. The majority of study units delivered at SCU have an associated Blackboard site. The Blackboard System: Technology Services manages the Blackboard system which resides within the secure website areas for staff and students. Access to any specific site is restricted to students enrolled in the particular study unit. Students access all their sites from the MySCU portal [study.scu.edu.au]. Once a teaching period is concluded and grades assigned, the sites are archived and student access withdrawn. Service description Provision of a University-wide LMS, including system administration;
