Finance OneFinance One is the Finance system in use by the university. The system provides extensive financial and budget reporting for users and management, via transaction download into Excel, windows based Executive Information Enquiry, and crystal reports. Major modules are receipting and bank reconciliation, accounts payables and receivables, general and project ledger, assets and depreciation. E-TransE-Trans is the University's data processing, work flow and transaction tracking system, providing secure transaction enquiry and reporting, and electronic multi level financial delegations authorisation. Transactions created and processed include Ereqs (Purchase Orders), casual staff contracts, casual and non-casual payclaims, expense claims, travel approvals, internal stores requisitions, internal cost transfers, and corporate card. The system has interfaces with the Aurion HRIS system, Finance One, and corporate card transaction files for database upload. Specialised functions incorporated into E-Trans also include full time/fractional salary and casual employee salary commitment calculation routines, providing detailed employee level projection reporting for actual payroll payments to date plus forward salary commitments to year end. The system also allows documents such as Purchase Orders, casual staff contracts, pay claim forms and corporate card acquittals to be generated as pdf documents and emailed to customers and employees.
