Overview

The University Website consists of many hundred of webpages. IT&TS maintain the web environment, its systems and availability.

The content within various areas of the website is maintained by Faculties, Schools and Service areas.

Service description

Management of the University web systems, and web publishing and hosting services, including;

Domain name registration.

Planning, development, maintenance and functionality of the University website content management system.

Development, implementation, promotion and monitoring of policies, procedures and standards.

Site audits and QA.

Training and support

Training is arranged dependant on client requirements. This is usually arranged during site/application development and handover. A support site is available which contains more detailed information about getting started with website management, support and training, services, resources and governance. Service availability

24x7 with the exception of scheduled outages and system failures.

Maintenance Outages

Maintenance outages are scheduled before 7am and after 8pm where possible to minimise disruption.
