
OverviewSCU operates an extensive network linking campuses at Lismore, Gold Coast-Tweed Heads, Coffs Harbour and the Hotel School in Sydney. In February 2006 SCU's network was connected into the new AARNet3 network providing (1Gb) high speed access to the Internet and between campuses. The new AARNet3 network is a world class network serving the needs of the research and education community in Australia. Service description Provision and maintenance of network connectivity including on-campus, inter-campus and Internet.
Diagnosis and fault rectification.
Advice and testing of new services.
Network management including, monitoring, security and access control.
Design, planning and approval of expansions to the communication network or new installations.
Telecommunications support.
