Creating PDF file for SCU Digital P...
SCU Digital Printing Services

To make a PDF file for SCU Digital Printing Services
  1. Create your document as per normal
  2. On the main menu of the document creation program choose File/Print...
  3. The Print window appears
  4. Open the drop-down menu in the Printer section at the top of the Window and select CutePDF Writer
  5. Click the OK button at the bottom of the Print window; after a few seconds the Save As window appears
  6. Specify a folder (make it somewhere easy to find!) & name for the PDF file. Note: if you are using Microsoft Word, the default name offered will be "Microsoft Word - name you gave the document.pdf"; just delete the "Microsoft Word" part and you will get a PDF file with the same name as the .doc file
  7. Click the Save button; the 'Save As' window disappears & CutePDF Writer writes the PDF file to the specified folder

  1. Click the the Windows Start button (usually bottom right of screen), then Settings, then Printers: Printers window appears
  2. Select CutePDF Writer (single left mouse click)

  4. Select Printing Preferences... : CutePDF Writer Printing Preferences window appears

  6. Set the Paper Size to A4
  7. Click the OK button of the CutePDF Writer Advanced Options window
