On Top of the World Exhibition

The is exhibition of artists books titled On Top of the World: Books Artists from Australia was co-curated by Julie Barratt (director of barratt galleries in Alstonville) and Tara O'Brien (artist book maker and conservator from Philadelphia).

This came about after Tara visited the area to open the Southern Cross University Aquisitive Artist Book award last year.

Subsequently the exhibition travelled to Washington where it was exhibited at Popcorn Gallery and then travelled on to the School of Art in Philadelphia.

This exhibition includes books by some of Australia's premier makers of artist books and its great to have the opportunity to show them before they all go back to their respective owners!!
