Short Loans

Items that will be in high demand for your classes may be placed on short loan for a designated period of time by completing the short loan request form.

Prescribed Texts

As identified in Co-op Bookshop lists or unit statements will have one copy automatically placed on 2 hour loan at each campus where the unit is delivered internally.

Recommended Reference Materials

Titles from recommended reference materials lists may be placed on 7 day loan if high demand from on-campus students is anticipated.

Other material

Personal material may be considered for short loan after consultation with the Liaison Librarian for your School.

Be aware that placing titles on 7 day loan precludes their use by students who are unable to visit the Library in person.

DVD copies of lectures may be placed in the Short Loan Collection, but the Library is not able to provide facilities for students to make their own individual copies.

Another alternative may be to make lectures available online via MySCU where copyright requirements can be met.
