Register for services

Before you can use assistive technologies in the library, you must register with the University's Disability Liaison Officer. The Disability Liaison Officer will generally make a confidential appointment to meet you to discuss your particular needs. For more information see Student Equity and Disability Services or the Equity and Diversity Office.

Assistive technology rooms

Each campus Library has assistive technology study rooms available for booking. The rooms have the following hardware and software:

  • Jaws for Windows
  • Dragon Naturally Speaking
  • ZoomText Xtra
  • Kurzweil 3000

Before using these rooms you will need to register. You can then book a room by contacting your campus Library.
