About Marketing and Recruitment
The activities of Marketing and Recruitment support the University's strategic objective to become the university of first choice for students in our region. Our goal is to communicate the distinctive attributes of Southern Cross University to prospective students and members of our community in a way that protects, promotes and enhances our brand.
Marketing and Recruitment work in collaboration with our academic and professional colleagues to develop and implement successful marketing strategies in-line with the University's recruitment objectives. We have primary responsibility for managing relationships with high schools and TAFE within our region and seek to foster a culture of life-long-learning within our communities.
Janet Hanlan, Head of Marketing and Recruitment, is the primary contact for academic schools within Southern Cross University for marketing matters.
Student Liaison Activities
Our Student Recruitment Officers manage our high school and TAFE relationships, conduct school visits, participate in Tertiary Information Days and careers markets and manage a series of recruitment events and activities across our region.
