Principal objectivesThe survey aims to examine the ways in which students engage and interact with their institutions, and the ways in which this is likely to generate high quality learning. The Staff Student Engagement survey (SSES) looks at the same engagement items from the perspective of teaching staff.

SampleA sample of students was selected according to ACER's specifications: two groups of students, those in first year and those in third year were sampled
