In 2004 the key areas for action and University responses were as follows: Timetabling- The Director of Student Services consulted with student representatives and a Timetable Advisory Group was established as an ongoing project.
Library and Computing Facilities- The University refurbished part of the Lismore campus Library, installing 40 additional computers, to establish an 'Information Commons'.
Coffs Harbour- Coffs Harbour campus was configured to allow more co-location of University students, and a more 'university-style' environment.
Tweed Gold Coast- The Tweed Gold Coast campus was extended to give space for more activities.
First Year Experience Survey: Main Areas for Improvement- The Academic Board received the results of the First Year Experience Survey, and noted that Heads of Schools had been asked to report on areas identified as in need of improvement.
Discontinuing/Deferring- The University had a Working party on this topic in 2004, and implemented the recommendations accepted by the Vice-Chancellor.
