The Grapevine Genome database is a result of a large-scale sequencing project carried out at the Centre for Plant Conservation Genetics. A number of objectives were achieved including the development of SSR markers from grape ESTs, micropropagation of table and wine grape varieties and an analysis of the grape genome based on 5,000 EST sequences. The results of the work on grape ESTs is now available in the Grapevine Genome database for a subscription fee. To obtain further information on access, please e-mail us.
