Welcome to the inaugural Activating Human Rights Film Festival !

We hope that the Festival will inspire, surprise, educate, activate and entertain you.

The Film Festival showcases a very diverse and exciting range of local, national and international documentaries, short films and feature films, multimedia presentations and performance - all around human rights. The intention of the inaugural Activating Human Rights Film Festival is to highlight, promote and raise awareness of human rights and their importance in the 21st century. In this way, hopefully bring a little more sanity and a compassionate perspective into our troubled world.

The organisers and sponsors hope that this Festival will encourage exploration, careful thinking and action for human rights in our regional community and beyond. We hope that this will be an annual event.
