Research Advisory Committee (RAC)

The Research Advisory Committee is the principal advisory committee of the Academic Board on issues of research across the University, including advise the Academic Board on the development of policies and procedures for the maintenance of academic standards and accountability, equity and quality assurance for all research activities in or associated with the University.

Higher Degrees Research Committee (HDRC)

The Higher Degrees Research Committee is the advisory committee to Academic Board on issues of Higher Degree Research training (including Masters, PhDs and Professional Doctorates) across the University.

Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC)

The Human Research Ethics Committee has been set up as an advisory committee to the Vice Chancellor. Membership of this Committee is voluntary. The Committee membership follows the guidelines set down by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC).

The Animal Care and Ethics Committee (ACEC)

The Animal Care and Ethics Committee at Southern Cross University has been established as a legal requirement for conduct of research into animals under provisions of the NSW Animal Research Act 1985.
