installation art through three perspectives;

The aspect of s i t e will be investigated through the large scale environmental artworks of

C h r i s t o  &  J e a n n e - C l a u d e
and the impermanent wall paintings of
     S o l   L e W i t t.

The use of  m e d i a  in installation art is investigated with a specific focus on the digital language used by
J e n n y  H o z l e r   and the television installations produced by well known electronic artist N a m   J u n e   P i a k.

The way artists use the  m u s e u m  as subject for their installations is investigatedthrough the work of
J o s e p h   K o s u t h  and 
H a n s   H a a c k e who use museum objects to create their artworks.
