Intentions and aims of the website:
The website has been produced to assist senior students (stage 6) to understand installation art. 
Installation art is a multidisciplinary style of artmaking, therefore this website takes a perspective of installation art through three differnet areas that are specifically devoted to the way the artwork are produced and fit into the discipline of installation art.

Use of the syllabus:
The syllabus is incorporated into this website. Students understand the artistic practice of each artwork through the conceptual framework. The three worksheets provided on the website focus on art crtical and historical writing and there is also 
an artmaking worksheet to help students to conceptualise the process of installation art.

Unit of work on installation art:
This website also comes with a unit of work which contains further theoritical and artmaking actives to assist students understand installation art.
 

The three areas are: site, media & museum. 
Site investigates how the aspect of a space influences the artmaking process and the overall end product of the work. Media investigates how digital art has become a common medium used within installation art and
how it creates new ways of interacting with and communicating to audiences. Lastly the concept of museum will be investigated, specifically with how artists use both the site of the museum and its collection to provoke thought about the institution of the museum.
