Coastal Management

The Centre for Coastal Management (CCM) is part of the School of Environmental Science and Management and coordinates research, consulting and management services on a commercial basis.

Ecotechnology

The Ecotechnology Group engages in research and consultancy services in areas related to regional resource management and ecosystem protection. The approach of the Group to these issues is reflected in its motto - "turning wastes into resources by closing cycles locally, visibly and elegantly".

Coastal Agricultural Landscapes

The Coastal Agricultural Landscapes Centre (CALC) Centre aims to increase understanding of the complex array of conservation and land management issues by bringing together the complementary expertise of NSW Department of Primary Industries and Southern Cross University.

The Co-operative Research Centre Program

The Co-operative Research Centre (CRC) Program is a major research and development initiative of the Commonwealth Government of Australia. Established to boost Australia's competitiveness internationally, the Program strengthens collaborative links between industry, research organisations, educational institutions and relevant government agencies.

Southern Cross University is currently a participant in eight (8) Cooperative Research Centres (CRC's), and is a core participant in three (3) new CRCs which will commence operating in July 2010.

The School of Environmental Science and Management contribute to CRC CARE and CRC for Forestry.
