"Processing the future: through action research, process management and futures studies."

The future is for everyone, but it is particularly for the next generation who will inherit a world that is being managed by the present generation. How do we empower people to make appropriate interventions, choose the most appropriate future for the world or their part of the world, and participate in the processes of sustaining and improving existence.

Bringing together tools and concepts and action research and process management techniques, this workshop focusses on ways to make informed best choices about the future in a range of contexts. The examples that participants will discuss can be extrapolated to any number of other situations with which the audience is familiar.
