Southern Cross University has been a leader in the provision of university-based training and education in natural and complementary medicine since 1995, when it became the first Australian university to offer a degree course in naturopathy.
The School of Health and Human Sciences offers a range of exciting undergraduate and postgraduate courses and cutting-edge research activities in Naturopathy and Complementary Medicine. The School is dedicated to excellence in education and research in natural and complementary medicine, as well as the development of a significant resource of health professionals in this field. The Bachelor of Naturopathy is recognised as Australia's premier naturopathic degree. Naturopathy is now accepted as a complementary choice in health care for many people, and our graduates are prepared to enter the workforce as naturopathic health care practitioners. The Master of Acupuncture is an online course specifically designed for acupuncturists or qualified health professionals wishing to upgrade existing qualifications and/or become practitioners of acupuncture. This course is fully accredited with the Australian Natural Therapists Association.
