Naturopathy & complementary medicine
Southern Cross University has been a leader in the provision of university-based training and education in natural and complementary medicine since 1995, when it became the first Australian university to offer a degree course in naturopathy.
Naturopathy is accepted as a complementary choice in health care for many people and the School of Health and Human Sciences offers exciting undergraduate and postgraduate courses and cutting-edge research activities in Naturopathy and Complementary Medicine. The School is dedicated to excellence in education and research in natural and complementary medicine, as well as the development of a significant resource of health professionals in this field.
Our Bachelor of Clinical Sciences offers foundation studies in naturopathy to provide graduates the opportunity to enter into careers within industry or private enterprise as advisors.
Our Master of Clinical Practice offers allied health practitioners a broad overview of the latest developments in various fields including complementary medicine, allowing candidates to build on existing work experience.
