Apply (domestic students) Byron Bay Summer Law School

Application and enrolment information for Southern Cross University, cross-institutional and miscellaneaous students wanting to study law this summer at the Bryon Bay Summer Law School.

Southern Cross University students 

Southern Cross University students self-enrol for Summer Law School units via My Enrolment.

The School of Law and Justice certifies all units offered as being electives for courses offered by the School (perquisite requirements must be met).

Approval

SCU students enrolled in degrees other than a law degree must provide approval from their school before enrolment to ensure credit will be awarded for the law unit/s they successfully complete.

Cross-institutional and miscellaneous students

Cross-institutional students are those who are enrolled at another university and want to use Summer Law School units as part of their degree.

Miscellaneous students are those who want to study Summer Law School units without committing to an SCU degree program.

Both cross-institutional and miscellaneous students should apply to enrol in Summer Law School using a Direct Application Form (PDF, 389KB) and indicate:

  1. Course - Summer Law School unit code and name (available at the Summer Law School homepage) and indicate their status as either cross-institutional or miscellaneous
  2. Location - Internal - Lismore (Please Note: Summer Law School units are taught face-to-face at the Southern Cross University room at the Byron Bay Community Centre)
  3. Study Period - Session 3

Approval

Cross-institutional students are required to submit approval from their home institution (with the Direct Application form) before enrolment to make sure credit will be awarded for any Summer Law School unit/s they successfully complete.
