About the Department The Department of Natural and Complementary Medicine at Southern Cross University is dedicated to excellence in education and research in natural and complementary medicine.
Established in 1997, the Department offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including the Bachelor of Naturopathy, widely recognised as Australia's premier naturopathic degree course. ResearchThe Department is active in research in a number of areas, which reflects the diversity of the staff. Consulting is done by individual members of the Department in all aspects of plant chemisty; biochemistry; and clinical, sociological and applied aspects of herbal medicine; nutrition; homoeopathy; and tactile therapies (massage).
