EDITORIAL

Welcome to Volume 4 of the Australian Electronic Journal of Nursing Education. This is my first editorial for the journal as I generally work behind the scenes in maintaining the Nursing School's website at Southern Cross University. I have recently returned from a 600km bicycle ride to raise money for the Northern Rivers Region Wespac Rescue Helicopter. The Rescue Helicopter is like this Journal in some respects. It provides people in remote communities the opportunity to access top quality health care in the same time as people living in urban settings. It is also free. I guess the similarities end there, the AEJNE won't save too many lives. However, it is an example of technology as a liberating force so that anyone can download and read this publication.
