Please let us introduce you to our journal:
The Australian Journal of Holistic Nursing is a prestigious biannual publication of the School of Nursing and Health Care Practices, Southern Cross University, in association with the Australian College of Holistic Nurses Inc. Although we have only been in publication since October 1994, our journal is gaining international respect for its extreme high quality by an eclectic readership of scholars and practitioners.
Also, as we are an academic journal and are gaining strong recognition within the academic world for our refereed articles, we have a growing national and international audience of researchers within the diverse fields associated with and around holistic nursing. An overview of topics covered within the journal to date is included below.
Our own research has indicated that our journal has a far wider readership than our present subscription numbers actually indicate.
Many of our subscribers are organisations, while most of the individuals who subscribe work within health related organisations or businesses. Research has shown that the journal is of such quality and interest that it is either physically handed around to many and varied interested persons, or is made available for general viewing through libraries and practitioner’s consultation rooms .
Until recently advertising in the journal has usually consisted of inserts. Due to our greater understanding of the actual physical movement of each copy of the journal we are now offering very reasonable rates by which advertisers are able to place their advertisements securely within the body of the journal itself.
