School of Arts and Social Sciences

The School of Arts and Social Sciences is a multidisciplinary and creative learning community, providing quality teaching and focused research. The School offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of visual arts, contemporary music, arts, media and social sciences.

Degrees are offered at our campuses at Lismore, Coffs Harbour and Tweed Heads. Our Lismore campus is home to our creative and performing arts, providing a cultural hub in a region renowned for its dynamic arts and music scene. Contemporary music, visual arts and media students have access to purpose built studios, including a newsroom, multi-camera television studio and recording facilities, and a performance space.

Many of our courses are offered by distance education, providing the opportunity to study where and when it suits, and our staff are committed to providing a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
