Visual Arts
Gain a comprehensive grounding in practical and theoretical aspects of contemporary visual arts practice. Work in well-equipped, purpose-built studios dedicated to painting, printmaking, 3-dimensional art (including ceramics and bronze casting), drawing, photography and digital arts, under the guidance of staff who are all practising artists.
Obtain a diverse and rich studio experience in an atmosphere that nurtures and inspires creativity, and take advantage of the beautiful geography of the Northern Rivers region for regular field trips.
Opportunity is available to study for a semester at the prestigious Pratt Institute in New York and other universities overseas.
Application to the Bachelor of Visual Arts is by interview and portfolio.
