International exchange: study overseas for a semester
Add some excitement to your degree by making the most of our international exchange program. Taking the chance to study in England, Netherlands, Austria, the United States, Canada, or Hong Kong. Students who take part in our international exchange program describe it as one of the best things about coming to Southern Cross University.
After graduation it can be very difficult to get a visa to live and work overseas, so being an exchange student can quite literally be a once in a lifetime experience.
An extended stay with one of our international partners, while working to complete your degree, gives you the opportunity to gain an insight into another culture, make new friends and travel. It also shows future employers that you are self-reliant and open to challenges.
We offer a variety of different universities for you to attend that give you a wide choice of subjects and destinations. A full list of partner institutions, application forms, postcards from former exchange students, and other relevant information is available from the Southern Cross University International Exchange website.
Eligible students continue to receive Youth Allowance/Austudy when overseas.
